General Education
I chose this background for this page because my life after high school at times is best described by this picture. I chose not to take the straight and expected path to establishing my career and family. And at what seems like an average speed of 35 mph sometimes, I won't "arrive" for quite a long time.
After graduating from Bingham High School in 1995, I started attending classes at Salt Lake Community College. I originally started on my General Education Degree. I attended two quarters full time before leaving in the Fall of 1996 for an LDS mission.
In the Fall of 1998, I returned from my LDS mission to Atlanta, GA. I enrolled for classes at SLCC and planned to return to school for Spring semester 1999. I met my lovely wife during Christmas break 1998 and as they say, the rest is history.
When I was first married, I did not know what kind of degree I wanted to pursue. At the time, money was tight and our boat had no real direction so I picked up my ball and quit playing. I instead focused on taking the skills that I had and using them to provide for my new family.
I started back at SLCC in the Fall of 2009, I have decided to take my experience in the world of business and use it in obtaining a transfer degree to eventually be used at a 4-year college. The general education requirements needed to fulfill this degree are:

Currently I have completed nearly half of the needed credit hours toward my degree at SLCC. I have averaged a 3.6 GPA while taking nearly 9 credits a semester along with working 50+ hours a week at my current career as a supervisor over the Roll-off division of Ace Disposal in Salt LakeCity, UT.
